Ahli Kriptografi = Ahli Matematika

Di Amerika, karir sebagai seorang matematikawan sangatlah menjanjikan, tidak seperti di Indonesia… Salah satunya adalah bekerja di NSA (National Security Agency) Amerika, atau kalau di Indonesia bisa dipadankan dengan Lembaga Sandi Negara (Lemsaneg)… Dan tidak tanggung-tanggung, NSA bekerja sama dengan AMS (American Mathematical Society) untuk mencari bibit-bibit calon cryptographer handal, sebab pada dasarnya inti dari kriptografi sendiri adalah matematika, bukan yang lain, dan NSA sadar akan hal itu… Tapi entahlah kalo di Indonesia… gw kagak tau! he2…
Keahlian matematika yg dibutuhkan oleh NSA adalah: Teori Bilangan, Teori Grup, Lapangan Hingga (Finite Field), Aljabar Linear, Teori Probabilitas, Statistik Matematik, Kombinatorik, dan sebagainya.
